POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a collision in Adlington.
The incident took place on Sunday night at 9.25pm when a Ford Focus had collided with an unattended parked vehicle on Market Street.
The driver of the Ford, a woman in her 70s, suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to Royal Preston Hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
PC Amanda Bond of Lancashire’s Road Policing Unit, said: “We’re looking to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have seen the vehicle in the minutes leading up to it.”
