PLANNING permission was granted to convert a shop in Padiham to a delicatessen.
But concerns about parking had been raised by Lancashire County Council Highways Authority, which believes the shop, at 24 Church Street, might increase congestion.
Coun Sharon Wilkinson said: "The delicatessen would be great news for Padiham."
