A 90-YEAR old pedestrian was left with a broken nose after he was hit by a car.
Emergency services and police were called to Greaves Crescent, Bacup, after a 90-year-old man was knocked down.
Police have arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with the incident on Saturday.
The man, who was able to stand after the accident, was taken to Burnley General Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries which included a boroken nose, police said.
A police spokesperson said: "A 90-year-old male was hit by a vehicle and we have arrested a 33-year-old male.
"The incident took place in Greaves Crescent in Bacup.
"The man has a broken nose and was taken to hospital."
