Andrew Peter Akeroyd, 53, of Kingsley Close, Blackburn, was ordered to stand trial at Preston Crown Court when he appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with concealing, disguising, converting or transferring £427,000 which was the proceeds of crime.
The money laundering offence is alleged to have taken place between June 2003 and July 2007.
Akeroyd was remanded on bail pending the preparation of committal papers.
