The site of the new showroom on Barbara Castle Way
A SALES office is to be knocked down to make way for a new car showroom.
The site on Barbara Castle Way, Blackburn, is currently used as a car sales pitch with a small sales office.
But the office will be demolished and a new Renault-Dacia car showroom will be built in its place after Blackburn with Darwen Council planning officers approved the development.
The building will be constructed with a steel portal frame and sited to the southern part of the site overlooking Barbara Castle Way.
The remaining area of the site will be for car parking to facilitate the new car showroom.
The site will be accessed utilising the existing access off Quarry Street.
