A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting at a caravan site.
The 31-year-old man, who is from Blackburn, was arrested by detectives last night and remains in custody this morning.
His arrest came after a 30-year-old man, also from Blackburn, was shot in the leg with a shotgun pellet. He remains in a stable condition at Royal Preston Hospital this morning.
The incident happened at the caravan site in the Ewood area of Blackburn at around 7.50pm on Saturday.
Police patrols in the area have been increased and officers said they did not believe there was a wider threat to the community.
