PENDLE’S Four Elephants is a national finalist in Parliament’s Tiffin Cup 2018 competition to find the ‘best South Asian restaurant’ in the UK.

The contest, run since 2006, involves MP s nominating local eateries with a sub-continental flavour with 12 being chosen for a Grand Final cook-off held in the House of Commons.

Now chefs from the Four Elephants in Skipton Road, Foulridge, will head to Westminster for the event on Wednesday March 27.

It made to top of the menu dozen out of 60 restaurants nominated by their local MP.

Four Elephants was nominated by Pendle Tory Andrew Stephenson after he ran a poll on his Facebook page.

He said: “I will be there on March 27 to cheer them on. I am sure everyone in Pendle will be rooting for our chosen restaurant to be crowned the champion.”
