READER Colin Cowgill of Colne took pleasure in being the first to spot our where is this picture.
He correctly identified Roughlee Pleasure Gardens, which was once a magnet for families and school parties from the local mill towns.
It had a boating lake - once a mill lodge - where youngsters also went fishing and a row of popular swing boats, while visitors could also enjoy pony rides.
It was formed on the site of the village's biggest mill, built in the 1780s by Robert Judson for cotton spinning, in the early 20th century.
Refreshments were available at a small lakeside cafe, or there was also the tea rooms at Happy Valley.
