A REWARD has been offered to anyone who can reunite a missing dog with its 'distraught' owner.

Danny, a 10 month old black and white male border collie, ran away while out for a walk on Sunday afternoon in Waterfoot.

He had been walking with his owner near to the aerial mast at Seat Naze and was seen heading towards Kirkdale Avenue Avenue.

An appeal been launched by charity DogLost, who provide assistance, advice and support to those who have lost dogs.

A spokesman for DogLost said: "Danny was spooked when out for a walk with his owner.

"At the time he was wearing a red harness and he is microchipped.

"His owners are understandably distraught

"We want to get them reunited as soon as possible, especially with the weather getting colder.

"Any help or information would be greatly appreciated."
