Active Way in Burnley town centre
AN elderly woman classed as 'high risk' went missing in a town centre.
Police released a public appeal to find an 80-year-old woman, who has links to Burnley, after she went missing in a town centre.
She was last seen passing Marks and Spencer towards Active Way, Burnley.
In the appeal the woman, who was described as 5ft 2in tall and has white hair, was last seen wearing a light blue coat blue and white spotted umbrella and a brown handbag.
Police confirmed the woman had been found 'safe and sound' within an hour.
