DRINKS will be flowing as an annual beer festival makes a return.

The 14th Pendle Beer Festival will be making is annual return this weekend.

Hundreds are expected to attend the festival where attendees will be able to sample more than 120 real ales and ciders from across the country.

The beer samples will include northern casks, southern casks, ciders and perries, key-kegs and bottled beers.

These will include Sussex Gold, Ruby 100, Hop Monster, Crafty One Pale Ale, Velvet Bottom, 1872 Porter, Nettle Thrasher, Gobble and Exeter based Firefly.

Last year more than 2000 visitors made the trip to Colne for the popular beer festival.

It will be held at the Muni Theatre, on Albert Road, Colne today from 11.30am to 11pm today.

The cost for entering all day is £3 but free entry after 7pm.
