A TEACHER wellbeing conference is to take place at Blackburn Central High School today.
Teachers from across East Lancashire are invited to the event which will start at 8.30pm.
A school spokesman said: "We need to be positive and resilient as education staff. "It is easy to forget this and can be difficult to achieve. "This training is a good reminder to look after ourselves and the benefits, not just for staff but for students too.
"Not only will this conference explore the issue of health and wellbeing for educational staff, but it also includes strategies for supporting student wellbeing.
"Wellbeing is a sustainable process whereby the health, wellbeing and motivation of staff and students becomes an embedded aspect within school management, and links directly to effectiveness," she said.
