A gentleman in Hud Hey Road says his garden wall is collapsing due to the vibration caused by Heavy Goods Vehicles passing by. Residents in the area are organising protests and petitions concerning the number of HGVs and the general speed of traffic using the B6236.
They believe that juggernauts are now using this route because they have been prohibited from the nearby Grane Road which links Haslingden and Blackburn. The householders would like to see similar restrictions being applied to the B6236.
