A ROMANIAN has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with theft of £200 from the landlord of the Swan and Royal pub, Clitheroe, and attempting to steal the same amount from another publican at the White Lion, also in Clitheroe.
Valeriu Sabin Muntean, 18, of Rotherham, pleaded not guilty to both charges and was remanded on bail.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Sandor Anghel, 25, when he failed to appear with Muntean on charges of driving without due care and attention, failing to stop when required and driving document offences.
