A CONSTRUCTION company has been given the go ahead to replace units which are 'old' and 'in need of replacement'.
Forrest Joinery and Construction Contracts Ltd had submitted plans to Ribble Valley Council to install a new ventilation system at its premises located at Ramsgreave Business Park, on Pleckgate Road.
The company, which specialises in manufactured joinery building projects, said the proposed development is required so that an efficient ventilation extraction system can replace the existing one.
According to the applicant, the proposed development will improve efficiency of the heating system, be quieter than the existing emissions on site and reduce the amount of emissions on site.
The company, which was first established in 1986, employs around 50 people from the local area.
