A MAN has been ordered to pay compensation after admitting to handling stolen goods and fraud.
Blackburn Magistrates Court heard how on September 30 Sean Michael Cook assisted in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of a stolen bank card belonging to Christopher Rawson.
On the same day Cook, 45, of Abinger Street, Burnley, committed fraud by using the bank card in order to make a gain for himself.
Magistrates were told both offences took place in Burnley.
Cook was ordered to pay £45 compensation, £85 prosecution costs and an £85 surcharge to fund victim services.
He was also given a four-month curfew banning him from leaving his home address between 5pm and 6am and ordered to complete a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement.
