DJs Adam O'Keeffe - aka Judas - and Adam G, otherwise known as AK-g, have joined forces and come up with a series of underground dance nights called Logic on Blackburn, starting on August 3.

Judas and AK-g are warming up the decks with an electric mix of techno and house.

They will be closely followed by top DJs including Greg Vickers, who became the youngest DJ to do a guest mix for Radio 1's Essential Mix in 2002.

He has played across the globe alongside other international talents such as Sasha, Danny Tenaglia and Carl Cox, but this will be his first time in Blackburn.

Paul Flintoff, Goodgreef Preston's resident house DJ who has also wowed crowds in 53 Degrees, Preston, and is preparing for a summer stint in Ibiza, is also on the line-up.

Also taking part are LBF, otherwise known as Lee Beckett and Ian Rollinson, who have been doing the rounds in Blackburn for years and have formed popular nights in the town.

Adam O'Keeffe, said: "Blackburn is sadly lacking when it comes to underground dance music, despite being a large town with over 100,000 inhabitants.

"There are a few small nights playing some great music, but they struggle to compete with clubs further afield.

"For this reason many Blackburn clubbers tend to travel to Manchester, Liverpool or Preston at the weekends.

"We aim to give the clubbers of Blackburn something to stay in town for, by bringing globally renowned DJs and live acts together with some of the areas most promising talent.

"Our aim is not to make a big profit but purely to give something back to Blackburn, and help to put in on the map."

Logic is at The North Bar, in Town Hall Street, Blackburn on Friday, August 3. Admission is £4 at the door.
