A LIFELONG Blackburn Rovers fan living in Holland is hoping his band will prove a big hit - so he can tour the UK and catch a few football games at the same time.

Neil FitzPatrick is a student at the Academie for Pop Culture in Leeuwarden, Friesland.

As part of his course Neil has formed indie rock band Expletive Deleted and is working with his bandmates on their first album. They are hoping to tour the UK next year.

Although the 20-year-old has lived in Holland for his whole life, his father Keith was born in Blackburn and grew up in Oswaldtwistle's West End.

As a lifelong Rovers fan Keith flies to Blackburn as often as possible during the football season to watch games at Ewood.

Neil has inherited the bug from his dad.
