THE cold snap we have been experienced recently has left us all dreaming of warm summer days.
In this photograph from the Lancashire Telegraph archives taken in 1965, East Lancashire motorists were making a bee-line for the Trough of Bowland.
With the sun shining down some of them decided to park up and take a break.
The two ladies in the left of the picture had certainly come prepared, getting out the deckchairs and settling down to read the paper.
