A wallet was stolen from the home of a 63-year-old Darwen woman.
She had just returned to her Epworth Road home at about 2.30pm on Monday and left the door unlocked when a burglar sneaked in and took the tan-coloured wallet from her handbag.
It contained about £6 in change plus various cards.
