GRACE Davies to win The X Factor 2017!

That is the rallying call from her supporters across East Lancashire today as the songstress gets set to perform in front of 2,000 fans in her home town.

The 20-year-old from Langho dazzled the judges as she made it through to the final of the ITV show last weekend.

Today, it is understood she will been visiting many of her old haunts including the pub she used to work and perform at The Feilden Arms in Feniscowles and her old school, Feniscowles Primary.

It is also thought she will be giving her mentor Sharon Osborne a tour of the sights of Blackburn before she hits the stage to perform in front of a home crowd in the town’s Cathedral Quarter at 6.15pm.

The X Factor cameras will follow the former warehouse worker to capture footage for the weekend’s final.

Excited fans are urged to show their support for Grace by lining the streets.

Grace has lots of supporters at St Stephen’s Primary School in Blackburn.

Steve Thompson, Lancashire Telegraph editor, said: “We’ve been captivated by Grace’s appearances on the X Factor since the opening show of the series.

“But her talent has come as no surprise to us as we’ve been following her musical career for some time now.

“It’s a great boost to the town that she’s through to the final and we want everyone to get down to Cathedral Square with a copy of our front page to show their support.

“You can also print off your own poster from our website too so we’ve covered all bases.

“It’s going to be a brilliant homecoming gig and we hope everyone in East Lancashire gets behind her and votes for her to win this weekend.”

Tickets for the free concert will be handed out from 5.45pm on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Feilden Arms landlady Beverley Holgate-Johnson said: “I am totally excited to see Grace again.

“She worked with us for about 18 months before she went up to The Railway but we have always kept in touch.

“I was sure that she would do well, it’s always been what she’s wanted to do and it looks like she is doing it.”

A spokesman from Feniscowles Primary school said: “We are brimming with excitement and can’t wait to cheer Grace on.

“We are just so excited that she is going to be coming to our school.

“Good look Grace from everyone at Feniscowles, we will be cheering you on on Saturday night. “

Year six teacher Lisa Riley-Wheatcroft from St Stephen’s Primary School, said: “The children are extremely excited.

“There was a definite buzz around the classrooms and it was nice to talk to them about it and learn a bit more about what they do outside school.

"I didn’t realise how many of them were interested in X Factor, a few of them are going to see her tonight.”
