PLASTERING professionals have brought home three awards for Accrington and Rossendale College.
More than 180 people attended the Plaisterers’ Training Awards Event in London to acknowledge and reward excellence in the teaching of plastering skills.
At the ceremony Accrington and Rossendale College won the 'John G Robinson Trophy' presented to the best overall performing college in the country
They also won the Regional Certificate in recognition of the leading college for successful candidates at level 2 and 3 in plastering for the North and the Sir Thomas Kelly Cup for outstanding achievements.
Assistant principal Charlotte Scheffmann, who attended the ceremony, said: "The awards reflect the enthusiasm and dedication of the teaching staff team."
The Rt. Hon. the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Dr Andrew Parmley, presented the awards and they were handed out by the current Master of the Plaisterers’ Company, Richard Hanney.
