FIREFIGHTERS had to remove part of a wall to extinguish a fire in a commercial building.
Crews were called to the incident in West Lane, Worston at around 12.30pm on Sunday.
A fire spokesman said: "Initial call stated that smoke could be seen coming from behind an internal wall.
"Firefighters from Clitheroe and Hyndburn attended the incident and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
"They found some hotspots on the ground floor in the kitchen area of the building.
"They used a thermal imaging camera and damage control pack.
"The fire was believed to be smouldering insulation in the wall cavity.
"Firefighters removed some of the stud wall to extinguish the fire and make the scene safe.
"There were no casualties."
