A TOWN centre bank is shut because of an electrical fault.
Customers wanting to use the Nationwide in King William Street, Blackburn, today found a hand-written sign on the door.
A Nationwide spokesman said the branch would open as soon as possible.
The spokesman said: “The branch in Blackburn is experiencing some technical issues and the team are working hard to restore service as soon as possible.
"We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause our customers.
"In the interim, our nearest branches are in Accrington and Preston.”
