TO mark the 50th anniversary of the death of Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth, Gawthorpe Hall will offer a guided tour by 'Miss Rachel'.
Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth was well known for the textile collection that she amassed and the social work that she and her family were involved in.
This guided tour will see 'Miss Rachel' share stories of life in Gawthorpe Hall during its heyday as a busy Victorian family home.
There is an exhibition dedicated to her life called 'Gawthorpe's Great Lady - Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth 1886-1967' which is on until November 5.
The tour will run on September 24 at 11am and tickets are priced at £7 per person.
