A FUNERAL will be held for a cattle handler who was a popular member of a town's community today.
Martin Leverton, 70, who worked as a cattle handler for more than 20 years at Gisburn Auction Mart, was killed by a bull at Gisburn Auction Mart last month.
His private funeral will take place at The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin, Gisburn at 1.30pm.
This will be followed by a procession to Skipton Crematorium and then a wake at Gisburn Auction Mart Restaurant and Bar from 4.30pm.
Martin, who owned a Subaru, was a keen car enthusiast and the car company has offered their condolences.
In a post on Facebook, Subaru Owners said: "It is with a heavy hear to report we have lost a Subaru brother.
"R.I.P Martin Leverton. Thoughts with family and friends."
