TWO mental health teams from a health trust have been shortlisted for a prestigious national award.
The two Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust teams have been shortlisted for the forthcoming 'Positive Practice in Mental Health Awards.'
Both the ‘Acute Therapy Service’ (ATS) and the ‘Psychosis and Bipolar Psychological Care Network’ (PBPCN), have been shortlisted in the ‘Psychological Therapies – Improving Access and Outcomes in Secondary Care’ category of the awards which is supported by NHS England.
They are among five NHS trusts from across the country that have been shortlisted for the award for their work in improving access and outcomes for service users.
Winners for the awards will be announced at the 'Positive Practice in Mental Health Awards' ceremony.
The awards are set to be hosted this year by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust on October 12 at The Imperial Hotel in Blackpool.
