A 22-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court accused of stabbing a man in the stomach as he withdrew money from a cashpoint.
Sarim Ali, of Perry Street, Darwen appeared at Blackburn Magistrates Court in connection with the incident at the Lloyds ATM in Duckworth Street, Darwen.
The court heard the victim 21-year-old Ryan Tzvetanov was also robbed of £100.
Ali was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court charged with stealing £100 from Ryan Tzvetanov and wounding him with a knife causing him grievous bodily harm.
