A 30-YEAR-OLD man was arrested because of an ongoing neighbour dispute over loud music.
Blackburn magistrates heard Mark Anthony Zoth's neighbours claimed he had put his music on loud at 7.15pm.
But he claimed they had been playing their music and it was him who had reported his neighbours.
Zoth, 30, of Snowden Avenue, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour towards Natasha Richmond and Abdul Ashraf. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
Andy Robinson, prosecuting, said the people involved were neighbours in the same flats. On the night Zoth started playing loud music and the couple turned their music on.
"He came downstairs and started shouting and screaming at them, challenging them to come out and fight," said Mr Robinson.
Zoth said he had too much to drink and became aggressive.
"The next day I was apologetic for my behaviour," he said. "Since it happened I have kept myself to myself."
