A DARWEN cat rescue is offering to help with neutering after seeing an increase in the number of kittens being born.
Moggies Cat Rescue currently has 11 kittens and has helped rehome more than 400 cats this year.
Maureen Savage, who runs the service, said owners should consider getting male and female cats aged five months and over neutered.
She said: “We are offering to help arrange this.
“Every year we get this and at this time of year it is unbelievable.
“It is better to get them neutered than to bring in litters of unwanted cats.
“We have 11 kittens but I expect that to rise. It is only just kicking in.”
