A MINI-moto rider is in hospital with serious facial injuries after colliding with a parked car in Blackburn last night.
Police say the 31-year-old was travelling down Beaumaris Avenue, towards Shorrock Lane, around 7pm, when his machine struck a Nissan Note car.
A Lancashire Police spokesman said the rider suffered grazes to his face after coming off the mini-moto.
He was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital with a suspected fracture to his left wrist and facial and head injuries.
An appeal regarding the incident is expected to be issued by road police later this morning.
