A FUNDRAISING campaign has been set up to help the family of a community stalwart in Accrington pay for her funeral.
Evonne Harwood will be laid to rest at St James Church in Accrington on Thursday, May 4.
Ms Harwood, 55, died suddenly last Saturday from a suspected cardiac arrest.
Her devastated family, including partner Guy Curtis, have received thousands of messages of support.
Ms Harwood's cousin Nicola Duckworth has now launched a GoFundMe page to raise £4,000 to pay for the funeral.
All monies raised will go towards the funeral, with any extra funds being donated to Ms Harwood's favourite charity East Lancashire Hospice.
