THE weather failed to dampen the Easter fun this weekend as a variety of events took place across East Lancashire.
In Sabden, people got creative with Easter bonnet making at St Mary’s Hall and enjoyed treats at the coffee morning.
An Easter event and food festival was held in Colne town centre and Easter egg hunt in Nelson, organised by the Pendle Leisure Trust.
Shoes were seen flying in Waterfoot as people took part in alternative Easter fun with the annual Clog Cobbin’ event.
Challengers throw their footwear backwards over their heads as far as they can with the winner the one who flings it the farthest.
People also were forced to don their raincoats and use umbrellas to take part in a very wet Witness Walk in Clitheroe which took place on Good Friday.
