VOLUNTEERS are being sought to join the Wellbeing and Mental Health Helpline.
Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust operates the service and is seeking people to work the night-time shift.
People would be required to spare a minimum of one four-hour session a fortnight on Saturdays and Sundays, from 8pm to midnight.
A spokesman said: “Volunteers are a necessity within the Wellbeing and Mental Health Helpline, especially during on busy weekend evening shifts.
“During these hours we receive a high volume of calls and it is important that we have enough volunteers to provide the listening ear the callers require.
“We really value the contributions from each and every one of our volunteers.”
