A CAMERA is being installed in Huncoat to deter motorbike users after a vandalised kissing gate was repaired.
The gate in Altham Lane was thought to be damaged last month by mini-moto users when part of it was broken off and thrown over a fence.
The gates were paid for by Huncoat Community Forum and treasurer Dave Parkins has revealed a solar powered CCTV camera is now being put up to try and catch culprits.
Signs have also been put up to warn motorbike about anti-social behaviour and the gate has been repaired.
Mr Parkins said: “You see hundreds of these mini-motorbike users in Huncoat, they’re causing havoc, they’re running around all over.
“We’ve firmly welded the gate back on now, they’ll need a crane to lift that up."
