HEALTH bosses are encouraging people who are experiencing low mood or distress to get in touch.
The Wellbeing and Mental Health Helpline, which is run by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust, is supporting Stress Awareness Month this April.
The helpline is open Monday to Friday, 7pm to 11pm, and Saturday and Sunday noon to midnight.
It provides a listening ear for people who may be feeling lonely, stressed or experiencing mental health problems.
The helpline volunteers offer emotional support for anyone experiencing distress and supports callers by using listening skills to enable them to make their own choices about how their health care needs may be met.
A spokesman said: βItβs here to provide a confidential listening and emotional support line.β
