VIEWS are being sought on plans aiming to protect and enhance the special interest of Padiham conservation area.
The Padiham Conservation Area Management Plan outlines details how the area can be enhanced from 2017 to 2027.
Council bosses said the involvement of the community in preparing the plan is an 'essential' part of the process and the council is holding a public consultation on the draft plan from today until April 28.
There will be a public drop-in session at St Leonard’s Church tomorrow Tuesday, March, 28 from 2pm until 7pm.
During the event people will be able to view the document, raise any questions and provide their comments.
The management plan and an online survey, to capture people’s comments about the document will also be accessible online throughout the consultation period at www.burnley.gov.uk.
Hard copies will be available to view at Padiham Library, Burnley Central Library and Contact Burnley offices in Parker Lane, Burnley.
Kate Ingram, the council’s head of regeneration and planning policy, said: “The plan will help protect Padiham’s past, and its future."
