A BUDDING singer Ribble Valley lost out on TV's ‘The Voice’ last night.
Hayley Eccles, from Old Langho, failed to get through to the next round of ITV singing competition.
Two other members of Will.I.am’s team, Jason and Michelle, were be selected by the public vote as two of the three to progress to the next stage.
The star then spent minutes making what he described 'as the hardest decision' to take Tania through as his personal pick.
Miss Eccles, aged 22, had sung 'Need You Now' live in an elegant white dress.
Despite getting positive comments from the judges, it was not quite good enough for her to get through to the quarter finals.
Will.I.am promised her and the other three singers who failed to make it through he would look at ways of working with them in the future.
