The renovation will see the introduction of an improved dining and family area, with family sports viewing on multiple screens throughout the pub.
The new venue will maintain the pub’s traditional features.
Steve Walmsley, general manager at the Fernhurst, said: “We’re really excited that the pub is going through such big changes.
“The Fernhurst has always been really popular, so we’re pleased to be able to offer an even better environment for people to get together and enjoy great food and drink.
“As well as our family-friendly eating areas and great drink deals, we’ll also be showing all of the big sporting fixtures.”
The pub will also offer ‘big game’ sports buckets for £3 with a bucket of chips.
