LORRY drivers leaving a quarry in Rossendale have been reminded to be more considerate in future.
Cllr Allan Neal raised complaints from residents regarding wagons leaving Cowm Quarry, in Whitworth, without using the wheel wash facilities, at a town council meeting.

The truckers were also accused of driving inconsiderately when leaving the valley site.
Town clerk Melanie Hearn said the issue had been raised at a multi-agency meeting concerning the quarry, off Back Lane.
And later PCSO Heidi Kirkbright had visited the site and relayed the worries to the foreman there, town councillors heard.
Further talks are taking place between residents, the operators, county planners, police, United Utilities and councillors in a bid to iron out the problems.
