AN East Lancashire dentist has been honoured with an award at a national ceremony.

More than 150 dentists from across the UK voted for Dr Khalid Master, a clinical director at Bank View Smile Studios in Blackburn, at the National Dental Conference.

The award recognised his commitment to the provision of exceptional patient services.

Dr Master had to give a presentation on the novel ways in which his practice communicates with new and existing patients through a variety of media during the ceremony which was held at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester.

He was given a Best of the Best trophy and won a weekend retreat in Spain.

Dr Master said he was overwhelmed by the award, adding: “We are really passionate and constantly innovative with our committed approach to concierge level dental service provision.

"We focus all our energy on making our patient’s journey pain free, stress free and truly memorable."
