BLACKBURN Post Office has reopened after a £90,000 refurbishment and modernisation.
The office in Ainsworth Street, Blackburn has been reconfigured with the counters now at the right hand side of the premises and a new ceiling, floors and more modern computer systems have been installed.

Customers have faced some inconvenience as it has been closed for three weeks for the work to be undertaken.
Postmaster Irfan Balapatel said the new Post Office would be a ‘flagship’ operation.
He said: “ On behalf of The Post Office I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we did this work.
“With the new Mall entrance and bus station right alongside us the place is a lot more bright and welcoming and fits in much better with the surroundings.
“All Post Office services are offered here including car tax and passport checking.”
Opening times for the store are Monday to Saturday from 9am until 5.30pm.
