A YOUNG farmer from Burnley was left high and dry by judges on ITV show The Voice.
Twenty-seven year-old Hannah Ormerod performed a countrified version of Avicii's Wake Me Up on Saturday night's show.
But the former Myerscough College student failed to impress judges Sir Tom Jones, Will.I.Am, Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale.
Hannah told producers she was only appearing on the show because her boyfriend had secretly sent off an application form and she had been invited in for an audition.
She confessed she had only previously ever sung while alone out in her tractor.
Before setting foot on stage, she said: "I am terrified - it's the most scary thing I've done in my life."
And while the crowd responded well to her, during the programme's sixth week of blind live auditions, none of the four judges turned their chairs to take her dreams further.
Afterwards Hannah, who is also a rep for South West Lancashire Farmers and an endurance rider, said: "I'm really disappointed - I gave it everything."
