A MAN in his 40s was airlifted to Royal Blackburn Hospital after a car crash near Sabden on Sunday. (November 22)
A police spokesman said the man suffered head injuries after a Ford Fusion and a Skoda collided in Clitheroe Road, at 1.50pm.
An ambulance service spokesman said the air ambulance took the man to the hospital and checked two other people at the scene.
A police spokesman said: "The man’s injuries were not thought to be life threatening and the road was closed for around an hour."
