FIREFIGHTERS have been called out to Darwen after a bin wagon caught fire.
The incident happened in Melville Avenue at around 9.15am this morning.

Firefighters from Darwen Station attended the incident and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire which was located in the engine compartment of the refuse wagon.
Nobody was injured.
A fire service spokesman said: "Firefighters from Darwen used a hosereel jet to extinguish a fire in the engine compartment of a refuse wagon. The incident happened in Melville Avenue at around 9.15am today.
"There were no casualties."
