POLICE had an increased presence in Hyndburn this evening ahead of tonight's EFL encounter between Accrington Stanley and Bradford City.
Inspector Ilyas Mohammed said officers were monitoring Bradford City fans after a minority threatened to cause disorder.
No arrests were made.
Inspector Mohammed said: "A small number of Bradford City fans have come over to watch the football at the Wham Stadium. We have got a higher than normal presence monitoring them from pub to pub. A small minority have threatened to cause disorder. If they do then we will arrest them straight away.No arrests have been made yet."
