TRAVELLERS who descended on a Burnley car park have moved on of their own accord.
Around two dozens caravans and vehicles turned up at the Centenary Way car park site, opposite the town's bus station. over the weekend.
Council officials were sent to the car park, which they own, in a bid to persuade them to leave, and consideration was given to obtaining a court order.
But early on Monday the travellers, who it is understood had stopped off there because of a broken-down vehicle, had left the car park.
