A YOUNG man from Rossendale has been sentenced after being caught with indecent images of children.
Matthew Kurpil, 24, had admitted to having 15 digital pictures depicting the most serious levels of child abuse on his computer equipment.
He was sentenced at Burnley Crown Court yesterday to five months in prison suspended for 12 months.
Kupril, who lived Bacup at the time of his arrest but is now from Windsor Road, Oldham, had also pleaded guilty to a separate offence of making indecent images, relating to four less-serious files.
He admitted to possession of 49 further photos showing children in erotic poses or similar when he appeared at Burnley Crown Court earlier this month.
