AN accident involving a tipper truck saw an air ambulance called out to Darwen this morning.
Paramedics and a North West Air Ambulance crew were scrambled to Holden Fold.

Eyewitnesses said the driver appeared to have got free after reportedly tipping the vehicle around 11.20am.
He was checked out by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
