AN appeal has been issued after a thief broke in to a Blackburn mosque and stole a laptop.
Police have issued a security warning following the burglary at the Ghousia Mosque in Chester Street between 1pm an 4pm on Monday.

Police said that a man forced his way in to a locked office in the mosque by smashing the door window with a fire extinguisher. After trashing the office he escaped with a laptop.
No arrests have been made and police have not issued a description of the suspect.
PCSO Matt Cornall said: "If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time it happened or you have any information which could help us please give us a call on 101, quoting log reference LC-20160229-0941."
